Magnus Carlsen vs Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa – All Chess Games

Arguably the best player to ever play the game of Chess, reigning World Champion Magnus Carlsen vs Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa. Praggnanandhaa has been a Chess prodigy that quickly rose to the top of the FIDE rating ladder beating some of the best players in the world. So Chess fans have been waiting for the day when Pragg would play against Magnus 1 on 1 in a tournament. Their best games are featured on this page.

Airthings Masters (2022)

Magnus and Pragg played a rapid game against each other at the Airthings Masters on Feb 20th, 2022 that got the attention of the entire Chess community. All of the best Chess forums were talking about it.

Airthings Masters (2022) – Round 8.5

This is the game where Magnus Carlsen lost against Praggnanandhaa, getting the attention of the whole Chess community. and was featured on many of the best Chess YouTube Channels. The Symmetrical Variation of the Tarrasch Defense was played.

Meltwater Champion’s Chess Tour 2022 – Oslo Cup on April 25, 2022

Just two months later, Magnus and Pragg met at the board once again. We’ll be looking at their games that took place on April 25th, 2022 at the Oslo Esports Cup, part of the Meltwater Champion’s Chess Tour.

Oslo Esports Cup (2022) – Game #3

Magnus was able to secure a victory in game #1 with a Queen’s Indian with being up just one pawn. In game two, Pragg was doing well against the World Champion, but Magnus was able to win with the Black pieces. This leaves us with Magnus being up 2-0 against Pragg. Pragg needs to win at least this third game in order to continue. Here is game 3 of the Oslo Esports Cup.

Oslo Esports Cup (2022) – Game #4

In round 4, Pragg played the Sicilian Defense against Magnus and Magnus played the Nezhmetdinov-Rossolimo Attack variation of the Sicilian Defense. Magnus played a beautiful endgame and after 76 moves, won against Pragg.
