In the last list of the top Chess players we published, we ranked the best Moroccan Chess players. Now in this article, we’re ranking the best Montenegrin Chess players from Montenegro, starting with the number ten spot in FIDE. All of the players in this list are master level players with an Elo rating of at least 2000. For more information on ratings, see the guide on how to get a FIDE rating.

Bozidar Ivanovic was accorded presented the Grandmaster title in 1978 and the International Master title in 1976. He clinched the Yugoslav Chess Championship thrice- 1973, 1981, and 1983. In addition, Ivanovic played for Yugoslavia in the Under-26 World Olympiad (once), Chess Olympiad (4 times), European Team Championship (once), and World Team Championship (once).

Draskovic clinched the 2021 Montenegrin Chess Championship and advanced to the 2021 Chess World Cup but was eliminated by Aleksandar Indic in the prime attempt.
