Now in this article, we’re ranking the best Moroccan Chess players from Morocco, starting with the number ten spot in FIDE. Hicham Hamdouchi was accorded the title of Grandmaster in 1994, the International Master title in 1989, and became a FIDE Trainer in 2019. He has clinched the Moroccan Chess Championship for a record eleven periods, first winning it at the age of 15 years in 1988. Hicham has represented Morocco in several chess Olympiads, the prime one being in 1988. Additionally, he advanced to the World Team Chess Championship while aged 17 years. He has competed in a total of 1358 games between 1987 and 2022; winning 606, drawing 524, and losing 228 hence acquiring an average winning score of 63.92 percent. He has played in notable tournaments including TCh-FRA Top 16 Haute 2022, TCh-FRA Top 16 GpB 2022, TCh-FRA Top 12 2021, and 7th ch-Francophonie Blitz.
