In the last list of the top Chess players we published, we ranked the best Icelandic Chess players. Now in this article, we’re ranking the best Kazakh Chess players from Kazakhstan, starting with the number ten spot in FIDE. Most of these players are Grandmasters with an Elo rating over 2500. Pavel has represented his country in six chess olympiads (2008, 2002, 2000, 1998, 1996, & 1994) and participated in the 1997 world team chess championship. He came in the fourth position in the 3rd Aeroflot Open tournament.

She has a Peak rating of 2495 and a FIDE rating of 2495. Zhansaya has represented her country at the Asian nations chess cup, chess olympiad & the world team chess tournament. In addition, she has been a women’s national victor twice in Kazakhstan. She is also a double world youth champion in the girls’ category and a victor in the girls’ world junior tournament. More than twice.

Murtas Kazhgaleyev was accorded the title of Grandmaster in 1998. He was part of the Chess World Cup of 2005 and here, he defeated the renowned player – Evygeny Alekseev during the first round and made it to the second round. Also, during the fifteen Asian Games that took place in Doha, he was crowned the winner of the Men’s Individual Rapid Tournament.

Rinat Jumabayev earned the title of Grandmaster in 2009, the International Master title in 2007, and the FIDE Master title in 2005. He has a FIDE rating of 2617 and a Peak rating of 2658. He has represented Kazakhstan in the Asian youth chess tournament, world youth chess tournament, and 2016 and 2012 chess olympiads. In 2005, he clinched the international chess championship. In addition, Rinat has played 1136 games; 484 wins, 322 draws, and 330 losses resulting in a winning score of 56.78 percent. He has competed in the following tournaments; 5th Sharjah Masters 2022, Tata Steel Challengers, and World Blitz Championships 2021.
