Now in this article, we’re ranking the best Slovak Chess players from Slovakia, starting with the number ten spot in FIDE. Lubomir Ftacnik was accorded the title of Grandmaster in 1980 and the International Master title in 1977; he became a licensed FIDE trainer in 2014. He has a FIDE rating of 2483 and a Peak rating of 2618. He clinched the European junior championship in 1976 and has played for his country in the Chess Olympiad since 1980. In addition, he emerged victorious in the South Carolina Open together with coming top at the Las Vegas National Open in 2006.
He has been a chess player from 1974 to 2022 and has played 2979 games. In those games, he has won 1050, drawn 1473, and lost 456, earning him a winning score of 59.97 percent. The last tournaments played by Repka include the 31st Chicago Open 2022, Saint Louis Congress GM, St Louis Spring B, and PNWCC Master Artist Point 2021.
