Shant Sargsyan is an Armenian chess Grandmaster born on January 27, 2002. Sargsyan was awarded the title of Grandmaster in 2019, and the title of International Master in 2010. As of August 2022, Shant’s FIDE rating was 2661 while his Peak rating was 2661 as of July 2022.

Notable Achievements

  • Sargsyan won in the Under-16 Category in the World Youth Chess Tournament in 2018 in Porto Carras.
  • Sargsyan placed 2nd in the World Youth Chess Championship in Mumbai in 2019 and also at the 2019 World Junior Chess Tournament.
