With many centuries of Chess history, there are multiple games that have become famous and are considered to be some of the best Chess games in history. Opera Game

Also known as “A Night at the Opera” and arguably the best Chess game ever played. The Opera game took place in 1858 between one of the best Chess players of all time, Paul Morphy played against both Duke Karl  and Count Isouard.

Immortal Game

The original Immortal Game was played in 1851 between Adolf Anderssen and Lionel Adalbert Bagration Felix Kieseritzky.

Evergreen Game

The game known as the Evergreen Game took place in 1852 between Adolf Anderssen and Jean Dufresne.

Anand’s Immortal

The game known as Kasparov’s Immortal took place in 2013 at the Tata Steel Tournament between Viswanathan Anand and Levon Aronian.

This game was appropriately titled, “Anand’s Immortal” by World Champion, Magnus Carlsen.

Kasparov’s Immortal

The game known as Kasparov’s Immortal is a game that took place in 1999 between Garry Kasparov and Veselin Topalov.

Immortal Pawns Game

The Immortal Pawns Game took place in 1984 between Emil Joseph Diemer and Thomas Heiling. This title is such due to Emil Joseph Diemer with the White pieces making 17 consecutive pawn moves and winning the game.

The Game of the Century

When the legendary Bobby Fischer made his presence known throughout the world after winning a game in 1956 against Donald Bryne when Bobby was just 13 years old.
