In the last list of the top Chess players we published, we ranked the best Angolan Chess players. Now in this article, we’re ranking the best Ugandan Chess players from Uganda, starting with the number ten spot in FIDE.

Bob Bibasa was accorded the FIDE Master title in 2020 and the Candidate Master title in 2010. In addition, he became an authorized FIDE Instructor in 2012. Bob Bibasa competed in chess games from 2000 to 2012, playing a total of 38 games; with 9 wins, 14 draws, and 15 losses accumulating an average winning score of 42.11 percent. Arthur Ssegwanyi was accorded the title of International Master in 2015, FIDE Trainer in 2014, and became an authorized FIDE Trainer in 2012. As of 2016, his Peak rating was at 2381. He clinched the Zone 4.2 Individual Tournament which enabled him to advance to the 2015 FIDE World Cup. He clinched the Tanzanian Open Chess Tournament and represented the national team in the 2012 Chess Olympiad.
