In the last list of the top Chess players we published, we ranked the best Irish Chess players. Now in this article, we’re ranking the best Indonesian Chess players from Indonesia, starting with the number ten spot in FIDE. All of the players in this list are International Masters and Grandmasters with Elo ratings exceeding 2200. For more information on ratings, see the guide on how to get a FIDE rating.

Danny also breaks through the Elo mark of 2500 when he reached a peak rating of 2513. This made him become one of the high-rated chess players to pass the Elo mark. Susanto Megaranto is a high profiled chess player from Indonesia who won his grandmaster title in 2004, at the age of 17. He is a four times winner of the Indonesian championships consecutively from the 2006 edition to 2010.

Susanto secured a chance to compete in the 2011 chess world cup where he was defeated by Le Quang Liem in the first round of the games. In 2015, Susanto was announced the winner of the Asian University Chess championships held in Beijing, China.
