Now in this article, we’re ranking the ten best Finn Chess players from Finland, ranked from FIDE. All of the players in this list are master level players with Elo ratings above 2200. In addition, he has represented his country in seven chess Olympiads and became a silver medalist in the European Chess Club Tournament.

Tomi Nyback was accorded the title of Grandmaster in 2003 and the title of International Master in 2001. As of July 2022, his FIDE rating was 2566 while his Peak rating was at 2656 as of March 2011. Tomi triumphed in the 2008 Finnish Chess Championship. He triumphed in the U18 European Championship, by bagging a bronze award. He was the runner-up in the 2008 European Individual Chess Tournament and hence was able to advance to the 2009 Chess World Cup.
