He is a grandmaster, a title he was awarded in 1998 after emerging victorious in his chess games. In addition, Dimitri Reinderman has a blitz rating of 2552 and a classical standard rating of 2576.

Erik Van den remains as the top Dutch chess players in the 1990s and 2000s. He was born on 15 May 1979 and is still an active chess player. He became more famous in chess games when he was declared the winner in the European team chess championships twice in 2001 and 2005. He was awarded his FIDE grandmaster title in 1998.
