The game known as “Fischer King”, Bobby played the Alburt Variation of the Alekhine Defense, beating Spassky in 74 moves.
9. Robert James Fischer vs Mikhail Tal – Bled, Bled YUG, Round 2, September 04, 1961
Fischer played the Bastrikov Variation of the Sicilian Defense.
8. Rene Letelier Martner vs Robert James Fischer – Leipzig Olympiad qual-4, Leipzig GDR, Round 8, October 24, 1960
This game received the name, “A Queen for the King”, Bobby played the Normal Variation of the King’s Indian Defense.
7. Robert James Fischer vs Tigran V Petrosian – Fischer – Petrosian Candidates Final, Buenos Aires ARG, Round 7, October 19, 1971
Known as “Mad TV”, the Modern Variation of the Sicilian Defense was on the board.

Called “Rook, Line and Sinker”, Fischer played the Weiss Variation of the Pirc Defense: Austrian Attack.

The game is called “A Fine Line”, Fischer played the Compromised Defense variation of the Evans Gambit.

Fischer played the King’s Indian Attack against Myagmarsuren in the game known as “A Tangled Web We Weave”.

The game is called “Best by Protest”, Fischer played the Exchange Variation of the Queen’s Gambit Declined.

The game known as “The Brilliancy Prize”, Fischer played the Fianchetto Variation of the King’s Indian Defense against Byrne.

Perhaps the most famous game in the history of chess, The Game of the Century between FIscher and Donald Byrne. The Hungarian Attack of the Gruenfeld Defense was played.
