Ding Liren is a Chinese Grandmaster born on October 24, 1992. Liren is the Chinese chest player with the highest FIDE rating and has become a Chinese chess champion three times.

He held a grandmaster title and was a winner in the 2019 Grand chess tour after managing to beat Maxime Vachier. He was ranked the highest blitz player globally in 2016 after achieving a blitz rating of 2875.

Furthermore, Liren was the first chess player from China to participate in the Candidates Tournament, where he passed the 2800 FIDE rating mark, the highest world ranking.
